Making Music Quest

I'm having the hardest time ever with this quest. I'm supposed to take 3 pictures of Stitch against the photo backdrop in the Dreamlight Castle, but he won't come inside the castle. He just stands outside. Idk how to get him inside. He won't come in, even if I ask him to hang out.

I also don't have the free mode option on my camera to take pictures without myself in them. I adjusted my graphics settings cause that's what Google told me to do, but that didn't work. I'm feeling like I'll never be able to complete this quest.

Does anyone have any suggestions for either of these issues?
