Anyone manage to go from civil lit to wills & trusts?

I’ve been stuck in these civil lit defense jobs for years and desperately want to break into wills and trusts. Helping people protect their assets and put a plan in place for their loved ones to me is way more fulfilling than defending big corporations. I just have zero connection or anyone in my network who does this kind of work. Anyone have any insight as to how they made this type of switch?
