Spam out of control

Apologies if this has been discussed a lot already in this sub.

It seems the spam detection has become atrocious on Gmail in recent months. Now you might say, "that is just because spammers use AI to make more realistic spam", but it is blatantly obvious spam. Bogus email address, transparently fake offers... Should be trivial to detect.

Anyone else notice this? Any known cause for this? Honestly makes me wonder if I want to continue using Gmail.
