And then the government makes you wait to get your card. Does the government want you to suffer and go through withdrawal? I’ve been a medical marijuana patient for 10 years. It has helped me tremendously. You have to renew your card every year. My current renewal is still processing, 2 weeks later, and I’m so frustrated by the contradiction. If this is medicine, why can access be interrupted for weeks during administrative processing? Why are there BOGO sales and promotional incentives like this is a retail product, yet patients who rely on this as a medicine can suddenly lose their access while paperwork is pending? How the fuck can the dispensary allow everyone to walk out of the doors with as much dosage as they can buy, but then turn away the patients who actually need it? I haven't had any in almost 2 weeks and my anxiety is through the roof. I don't want to ache nonstop. I DON'T WANT TO GO RIDING MY BIKE AT 3AM LIKE A CRAZY PERSON. I want to be able to take my medicine so that I can function and feel better and be productive.
