18F and I hate how normalized daddy issues have become
Genuinely what happened to this generation of fathers?
Lately, almost 80% of posts I come across are of younger women (mostly 19-23) dating men that are atleast 20+ years older. It’s actually insane to me how many women go for older men (myself included lol).
However, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s weird that a 56year old to be in a relationship with a 19 year old. I’m all for love is love, but sometimes it gets a little weird lol.
In this day and age, it’s become a trend to have daddy issues. As though it’s cool to have divorced parents or an absent father. Spoiler: it isn’t.
Anyway, I think we need to stop encouraging younger women to go for older men, especially when under 25.
