Have you found yourself longing for a more meaningful conversation with someone that wishes to engage and listen more than just waiting for their own turn to speak? I get it; in our circles, it's a pretty ubiquitous experience. Let me list a few things for which I'm searching, and what I can bring to our discussion!

-I am a mechanical drafter and designer, a construction estimator, and I'm in school for a second degree in machining and CNC programming. I love talking about inventions, products, and other projects that you wish to share. I am a pretty good whiteboard it comes to working through ideas; if you've been looking for someone to act as a second set of eyes for your creations, I would love to help!

-I am an amateur carpenter and welder. From bird houses to sheds, and from trailers to shelves, I've worked on a lot of different projects. If you love working with your hands, we'll get along swimmingly!

-I am an amateur musician. I own and play several instruments including guitars, pianos, and harmonicas. I have a pretty good ear for a lot of different genres of music, and I'm just now dipping my toes into music theory. If you're a classically trained musician, you definitely have more knowledge than I do, but I love listening, learning, and sharing! I also have a pretty decent singing-voice!

-I am an amateur writer. I have written many stories, created dozens of fully fleshed characters, and crafted several incredibly detailed worlds/universes. I tend to skew toward Science-Fiction and Fantasy. Are you forging a world or trying to develop a new character? Please talk to me about them and rant to your heart's content!

-I love discussing philosophy. Kant, Malthus, Engels, Schopenhauer, Camus, and Mainländer spend a lot of time dancing in my idle thoughts. I usually stick to philosophies of ethics and economics, but talking about the meaning of existence is almost always a great time. I don't have an academic background in philosophy, so I can't quote specific philosophers, nor do I have an encyclopedic knowledge of their works. A more accurate description of my relationship to it would be to say that I spend a lot of time thinking, postulating, and being introspective. Digesting thought-experiments is a frequent passtime.

-I do not like toilet-play.

-I love CNC.

-I love bondage.

-I am not opposed to a role play, but I much prefer sexting as I've been in a creative slump for a while. If this statement seems contradictory to what I said earlier, I completely understand your concern. The energy requirements to write a narrative are very different than discussing histories and lore, so I ask that you be patient with me.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

-Men are welcome, but I am not as sexually attracted to them as I am to women. If you identify as male or are masculine-presenting, I prefer that we keep our conversations platonic. I like making connections with anyone from all walks of life, so don't be discouraged if you just want to make a new friend!

-I am married and polyamorous. My wife is aware of this post, so if you have an infidelity kink, I don't think I can help you. We have been together for eleven years!

-Please use proper syntax. I am understanding with those who speak English as a second language, so don't think I'm going to be rude or condescending! I won't disregard those who make grammatical or spelling errors, but please put effort into your messages. Sentences without capitalization or punctuation that are filled with abbreviated words are very distracting to me, but I hold no ill-will toward those who prefer to communicate in that way.
