How to prevent the supports from building or taking space of an area? Considering that something will be placed inside during a layer-pause of a printing process.

As you can see from the images, one big support branch ignores the blocker. 

I tried to remove/diminish the drawn supports on that ledge.

I tried to stack the support blocker in the region where the big branch spawns.

No matter what, that support branch comes back alive and I can't kill it.

  
What am I supposed to do here?

Need help removing a support.
