Memorabilia

Can anyone suggest what I can do with my grandfather's WWII memorabilia? I have quite a bit of photos from his service in the Army. I hate to just leave it in my closet, I would rather it go somewhere where other people, including veterans, can see it. On a side note one of my favorite stories he would tell me was how he was part of the invasion force for Japan if the atomic weapons failed to make them surrender.
