Anyone else does this?

Vent

LO is 13 weeks today and since the last week or two, naps have been 30 mins long. He takes 4 naps and these short naps make me really anxious. I try to shoot for 3-4 hrs total nap everyday but it’s hard work. I used to extend naps in a carrier but truthfully my baby requires being in motion and when I do that my body feels like it’s being split in half after rocking baby while in a carrier for an hour or two. So since last week I started doing this thing where I go back to his room close to the 30 min mark and the minute I see him move and before he even stirs, I put my hand over his chest and he goes right back to sleep. If he had a paci on, I’m ready to put it right back in after spitting once the sleep cycle ends lol. I have him wear the Merlin magic suit and I find that the slightest pressure over his chest calms him down and I can extend a 30 min nap to 1.5hrs. It works like magic but my back is beat from hovering over his bassinet, which sometimes is till the end of his nap. Does anyone else do this? I’m actually currently doing it with my left hand over his chest and my right hand typing. Any other tips to extend a crap nap?
