Lovesexy
Why was the track Lovesexy so neglected by Prince when he performed it live? It's the title track, but it didn't have a prominent place or anything. He didn't open nor close the Lovesexy tour with it. It was just crammed somewhere in the middle, flowing from one track into another and just never looked upon after. Instead, he chose Alphabet St. as the encore, which was the biggest hit from that album. Was this one of the rare occasions, especially in the 80's, where his titletrack just wasn't good or well-known enough to have a prominent place? I think it's sad, because I think the track is amazing and didn't deserve to be cut off and placed in a corner. The titletrack should always have a special place in tour.
This also goes for the album. It was again crammed somwhere in the middle, so it didn't feel like a titletrack. He should've just named the album and the tour Alphabet St. or Positivity at that point.
