Error in judgement?

Trigger Warning

hi all!

So my break up is still fairly fresh. After being dumped by my now ex girlfriend in a very "heat of the moment" break up, I initiated no contact. Well, it was not even a week she was calling me on a saturday night.

I answered that call. I feel that itself was an error on my end. While on that call, I did not beg, did not force any difficult conversation, but instead simply told her I miss her after we had some brief generic discussion. in which she returned that.

Fast forward to Tuesday after going back to no contact. she called me while at work. I answered, but this was strictly small talk. Later that day, she texted me which again, small talk. except she sent me a picture of herself at work which basically was a daily routine for us.

Now this is where the "error" in question comes in play. at this point its been a full week. In that week, I let her initiate any conversation with me. But that evening, I called her. and after some small talk, I offered her to have a serious talk. Except, I said "by a serious talk, I mean you have the floor with ne strictly listening to you and not addressing anything you say. to which then, I will process things. Only will I address anything when you give me a green light to let ne have the floor at a later date."

well, she turned it down. Then, right back to no contact.

Today, I broke the no contact. I saw she unblocked me on Facebook messenger, and I hit her with the same line I always used to when I was very first showing her interest. Then, I went on to say how I had went to a new steak house last night to meet/pick up my younger sister and how the inside was so much reminding me of a steak house we went for one of our very first dates. Which led into some decent conversation, a couple work selfie being sent, and then silence.

So, as a dumped man, I am asking you all. Thus far in this break up, how bad have I screwed up in possibly reaching a resolution with her? or, on a flip side, do you guys forsee this being a permanent thing?

Thank you all in advance!

*note worthy* I am more a commentator rather than poster. So I dont forsee this as "triggering" necessarily, but I couldn't post without adding tags/flair
