Guitar amp head repair?

I have a Peavy 5150 that will randomly drop volume & need to get it repaired. I tried to take it to Long & Mcquade but they told me they no longer offer that service. Where do you all go for that kind of work? Seeking places within the city, I’d prefer not to go out to Richmond or Surrey.
