I hate getting into a series only to find out its incomplete.

The obvious first pit I fell into was The Land. I think Hell will freeze over 9 times before we ever see that series completed sadly. All jokes about the God Father of LitRPG aside, I was really enjoying the series.

My most recent folly is Mephisto's Magic Online. I picked up the Omnibus thinking I was going to get a complete series, then when there was less than 3 hours left in the last book I started to panic. Either the author was going to just throw some sloppy ending at us like my Sophomore English Class homework or.... "Oh no!"

So does anyone know what has become of this series? A quick google search turned up little to nothing on the series other than the authors name (Christopher Johns) and his other series. I was enjoying the series and now I am feeling abandoned with a LOT of unanswered questions.
