Backrooms such wasted potential (Spoilers)

NSFWSpoiler

Beginning 20-30 minutes was such a slog... Brutal to get through. Slow and boring.

Film wanted to be too artsy and deep. Why not let it be fun? It's based off a 4chan copypasta and a video game.

The entire backstory of the therapist felt so pointless and went nowhere? How was it relevant to anything? What was the point of her mom being insane and her being trapped in the house with her mean?

They could've used the couple that worked for the store more than just the 10 minutes they were able to survive for...

So why did he (main character) all of a sudden go crazy and the freak people became his buddies?

Finally why did the therapist act so stupid when she was being chased by the gigantic puppet dude?

Like he was moving so slowly but she constantly let him catch up for some reason? Complaining about her leg being hurt when she tripped over the couches...? Like dude... some freak monster is chasing you... complain about your leg later?

God... don't get me started on when she was in the copy of the store area and she was letting the puppet get closer and closer when she could literally run circles around it.

Whole film was just frustrating and had so much more potential.

6/10 but I think that's being generous.
