IB or a levels ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”

Advice

My school offers both ibdp and a levels and for the same fees. The fees for both the programmes is around 8 lakhs inr this is a substantial amount for my family but they really are trying to make it work for me so yes I do need to go abroad. Since Iโ€™m in India Iโ€™ll have to do about 5-6 a levels subjects.

At first I decided to switch to a levels because the fees for ibdp was 16 lakhs and that quite literally my families annual income๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”

If I were to take ib I would be taking maths aa hl, physics hl, chemistry hl and Hindi sl, English sl,bio sl

But after doing more research turns out that hl subjects are pretty similar to a levels subjects and sl subjects have no college credit.

My main concern which is easier to score in BECAUSE I REALLLYYYY NEED TO GO ABROAD LIKE REALLY REALLY.

The fact that ib helps in first year coursework doesnโ€™t seem like a super big advantage to me because I will adapt in uni neither does ib giving a boost because of ca, tok and re bother me because I plan to do community service, internships, research papers outside of school too.

I finished writing my boards exams (icse) and achieved a score of 88.8% ๐Ÿฅถ not the best but I didnโ€™t try super hard either way.

So what do I do legit crying over this because this is some serious money. Pls donโ€™t be negative since Iโ€™ve already booked a seat at this school ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” Ik Iโ€™ll study hard for 11th and 12th either way.
