I am a Christian and found out I have a homophobic christian friend

I'm (23F), a born again christian (although I do have challenges with my faith), and have always found it difficult to make friends. I moved places recently, and currently go to a new church. It's a decent community and I had a chance to speak to one of the girls who is 2 years younger to me. She is a good person and we hung out the entire day today.

We ended the day on a good note. I got a call from her asking for some advice with a guy that kept texting her but she wasn't interested in him. I just joked around and said "Just tell him you're gay. He will back off." (I am not trying to make fun of anyone in the LGBT community). But I got an unexpected reaction from her. She said "I don't like these lesbians, I believe in God."

I know it wasn't some extreme hateful dramatic thing she said, and maybe I'm too sensitive, but I felt like my belief system was being judged, and I wasn't "Christian enough." For context, I love everybody with a good heart, and I don't care what sex you prefer. I advocate for MYOB as long as no one is getting hurt. In fact, I don't consider it a sin, or something that needs repetance. Now I feel disappointed, that I can't make yet another friend. I am again starting to question my faith and belief system. Am I a bad christian for accepting my gay peers? Am I being dramatic? Was it actually homophobic? Am I overthinking it?

I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Please understand that I am not looking for any hate in my belief system. I dont put being queer in the same league as sins such as murder, rape, theft, etc. I request you to please advice on how I should deal with this.

TLDR I can't make friends. Thought I made a friend at church but she doesn't like people from the LGBTQIA community. I feel disappointed to have a potential friend who I now have discovered to be homophobic. I have started to question my faith too. Please help.
