JPG Le Male what happened??

Wanted to get a bottle as a nostalgia hit. It smells nothing like I remember. It’s maybe 50% there currently. Don’t get me wrong, the new one is fine but like giving someone coke and telling them it’s Dr. Pepper. I get it reformulations and all that. how far back vintage do I have to go to get the performance and projection and all around amazing smell of my bottle from year 2000 without going back that far? I got a decant of le male eau fraiche Andre 2018 for example that performs and smells at the same level
