A friend keeps bringing up our very first meeting from months ago. Is this a major indicator of interest (IOI)?

Inoticed is that she frequently brings up our very first encounter from months ago. (I wore sunglasses, so she didn't recognize me the second time we met without them). From a female perspective, what goes on in your mind when you do this?

In psychological terms or from a girl's perspective, why does she keep romanticizing/bringing up the "origin story" of how we met? Is her brain hardwired to focus on this because she likes me, or is it just casual banter?
