Just purchased the Gen5 Astro A50 for Xbox.

So I just purchased these and seem to be dumb with set up. I plug the red end of the USB C to the red color coded USB C port on the base station. Then the other end of the USB C that's black to the little power block. I then plug the USB A to the back of my Xbox then the USB C end to the Xbox marked port on the base station. The base station doesn't power on. The only time it does is when I flip the red USB C to the Xbox port. Am I doing something wrong? The headset has no audio doing it that way but the dock powers on.
