Question about plant abyssal lich

Hi all, last minute league start question.

I was about to start as lich, going abyssal lich lateron when unlockable, however, the one thing that held me back:

- low life and having to set that up every time.

How big of a deal is low life on abyssal lich?

Did i make the right call not going for it because it's tedious?
