Post analysis of RR players individually:
JAISWAL:
Had a 400 plus run season but this is an poor season overall for a talent like jaiswal. He had an awful season but everyone is allowed to have a bad season. We know his talent and what he is capable of if he is in full confidence.
Am sure he will be back stronger next season.
VAIBHAV SOORYAVANSHI:
What a season he had. For a 15 year old to have a 776 run season is unbelievable. He literally carried our batting this season and a huge reason for our qualification.
We can proudly say that we have the ultimate talent in our squad and this is just the Beginning. He will give many more happy memories in the pink shirt.
Am sure next season with jaiswal and vaibhav both in full confidence would be the ultimate dream we fans unfortunately missed this season.
DHRUV JUREL:
His first full season as a number 3 batsmen and he truly lived upto his talent. 500 plus runs with a strike rate of 150 plus is a season every cricketer would be proud of.
The most technically correct batsmen in our squad and his maturity is highly appreciatable. A huge backbone in our batting and his performance have been overshadowed by the brilliance of vaibhav.
PARAG:
The youngest captain in this ipl and his captaincy is a mix bag of brilliance as well as some poor decisions but the way he lead his team is definitely a huge positive for rajasthan royals.
His batting has been really poor but he found his rhythm against Delhi but right after that match he was unfortunately injured. But with grit he played till the playoffs with an injury. His commitment to the team is amazing.
So I hope he consistently perform next season as he did in 2024. I really have a confidence that he will come good next season.
DONAVON FERREIRA:
He really showed how destructive he can be when he is in full flow. His first season where he fully played and he definitely is a one for the future.
DASUN SHANAKA/HETMYER:
hettie has been really pathetic and for that reason he was rightfully dropped from the team.
Shanaka did a poor job filling the finisher role. His performance is also pathetic.w
I would release both of them ahead of next season and would try to buy jaime smith as a finisher or any one that has a potential to finish games.
JADEJA:
we didn't used jadeja to the fullest. His bowling was heavily under used and the management should not do this mistake again going into next season.
His batting is the one that has saved us from alot of humiliation. He is definitely had a good season with the bat.
I hope the management use him well next season.
ARCHER:
The one that carried our bowling all season and he definitely had an remarkable season.
His best season after the back injury he suffered in 2021. Archer can definitely hold his head high after an extraordinary season.
NANDRE BURGER:
started the season amazingly but gave alot of runs in the middle of the season.one of the reasons for our great performance with the ball to start the season with 4 consecutive wins.
He again got back to the squad and he definitely stepped up in the last 3 games and gave a extraordinary support at one end for Archer.
He is definitely a highly talented bowler that we should always keep. A good season overall for burger.
YASH RAJ PUNJA:
a young bowler that is definitely showed a lot of great skills and temperament.
No one would have thought before this season that he would start ahead of bishnoi . He definitely performed in a lot of games that he played.
His line and length sometimes has been really poor but he is young and will definitely learn. For 30 lakhs he will always be in the squad.
He needs to improve his fitness and fielding.
BRIJESH SHARMA:
he definitely is talented and have alot of variation in the bowling. It's his first season not only in the ipl but also in professional cricket.
To show this much of skills without playing a single game domestically is really unbelievable. He sometimes does miss his line and length but as a young talent he definitely stepped up in the absence of Sandeep Sharma.
Hope he develops alot more domestic experience.
TUSHAR DESHPANDE/ shubham Dubey/ sushant Mishra/ Ravi Singh:
Tushar Deshpande only bowled a single good over against RABADA and Rashid to win us a game after that he is poor. He definitely doesn't justify 6.5 crore price tag. He should be released ahead of next season.
Shubham showed a promise as an impact player but definitely should improve his off side hitting. He definitely is a player we should he keep. A good squad player .
Ravi Singh didn't get as many opportunities but a highly talented batter. His fielding has been remarkable and always played with absolute passion.
Sushant Mishra definitely showed alot of promise but did find it tough in his line. Due to less match sharpness he made alot of errors in the games he played. But this guy has potential to be a match winner and I would definitely keep him in the team.
