The time skip this season feels less optimistic

This time skip seems less optimistic than previous ones

I will be talking about the timeskips/flashforwards at the end of each season so please don't read if you are not caught up with the season 5 timeskip but I have spoilered it just in case

Season one: we see Seadragon launch with the growing establishment of Jamestown. Humankind has basically established a permanent colony in the Moon. - Optimistic

Season two: we see an astronaut on Mars. Showing that humanity has reached the red planet. - Optimistic

Season three: Margo wakes up in Moscow. - Less optimistic (yay Margo is alive) but with intrigue

Season four: Dev standing at the site of potential life on Mars and the development of Goldilocks. - Optimistic

Season five: >!we find Mars-94 adrift and a computer boots up after 26 years. - Interesting but no optimism and that was needed after the fate of Kelly!<

Have to wait till next season to find out what that is about. Was personally hoping for an orbital lab around Titan or miners in Saturn's belts.
