Not a go-getter

Does anyone know of any books where the protagonist is a low energy, not necessarily driven socially or professionally person. I am the kind of person who is satisfied with having very little in life compared to what others strive towards. I’m happy in my tiny studio, with my couple friends and career that’s kind of stagnant at the moment, it pays my bills and buys me trinkets. I want to read a book about a person like me who is sort of going against social norms in a way, not a go getter and they’re ok with it/coming to terms with it. Sorry for the ramble.
