Property and Casualty Exam (Pennsylvania)
I started studying for my P&C exam through AD Banker about a week ago. I began after Memorial Day and initially tried reading through the slides without taking notes, but I quickly realized that isn’t my learning style.
I switched to making flashcards by writing down each term and definition, but it’s been extremely time-consuming. I spent about 7 hours on day one and 5 hours on day two and have only completed three chapters so far.
I have no prior insurance knowledge, so all of this material is brand new to me. With roughly 45–60 days to pass the exam for my new job, I’m starting to feel overwhelmed by the 19 chapters and hundreds of terms and definitions.
What is the most effective way to study for this exam, retain the information, and pass? Any advice from people who have been through the process would be greatly appreciated.
