Over this industry
Idk, I’m a CFI CFII trying to find a job, and I’ve dedicated so much time to it but it isn’t exciting to me anymore. The airlines seems so far away, and being a CFI seemed great but I’m in college full time still and I’m competing against others.
It’s also taking a strong emotional toll on me. I get it’s life, you need to be smart for job interviews etc, but I’m getting rusty with flying. I studied SO much to get here.
Interviews feel like dating, not getting any feedback. Luckily I had one today and got feedback but I was emotionally less there bc I’m so stressed and the d word, depressed, with my life.
I can’t apply for cfi jobs out of the country. I’m in college still.
Idk, I’m just giving my emotions. There’s like 7 schools in my area and I’ve done interviews at 4.
I’m just kind of numb, feel sick to my stomach, and wanted to bring some realistic feedback on my take on the industry.
It f-ing sucks. Hope to have some enjoyment with my life sometime soon, however it may be, because I’m NOT happy with myself and I’m not even on a loan like most others in this industry right now.
