Shadowheart dialogue bug/question?

Hey everybody!

First time player here! What a tremendous game this is! I’ve already fallen madly in love with Shadowheart but I’m having what I feel like is some odd dialogue with her. Before the first romance scene, I had got her approval to high/very high (I’m on console so I can’t see specific values), and when I’d ask her “how am I holding up by your estimations” or however the line goes, she would say “how are you holding up? Don’t sell yourself short, I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone like you, don’t think I will again etc.”

But after the kiss scene (mind you I triggered this well before I finished saving the grove and having the tiefling party if that matters) and her sharing the memory right after, when I ask that same question now she says “quite splendidly, you and I have shared some good times together and seem to have plenty in common.” I have her approval at exceptional and the prior dialogue just seemed way more heavy about how she felt about me (saying she’s never met anyone like me before etc.) whereas the post romance scene dialogue seems more casual.

I suppose my question is whether that’s the right dialogue trigger/response for this stage of the relationship or if I’m experiencing a bug? I tried checking YouTube and other Reddit posts but couldn’t find an answer. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I still have a save from the night I had the cliff scene, if it’s bc of a dialogue I chose after that interaction, but I’m just not sure. I know I’ve started the romance at least but just thought it was odd she said that. Thanks! :)
