Requesting a birth certificate from University Hospital of Zürich as a non-swiss British national

Good day everyone,

I was born in Switzerland in 1996 at University Hospital of Zürich and due to circumstances out of my control my father decided to throw away my documentation when we emigrated to the UK. On my British passport currently it says i was born in Somalia even though i have never been to the country my entire life. I am looking to find and replace my original birth certificate in order to show i was never born in somalia for employers who are reluctant to hire anyone born in Somalia. What is the best course of action for me to get my birth certificate? I lived in Switzerland till the age of 6 then emigrated to the UK. I don't know why my dad decided to throw away my documentation and he isn't in my life anymore so i don't want to perpetuate a lie he told officials when we first moved to the UK.
