Stealth Stone or just lucky? (My kidney stone experience)
I had a Ultrasound last year where it discovered minor hydronephrosis in my right kidney. I was working last Friday and suddenly fell a sharp stabbing pain in my right side. I knew right away that it was probably a kidney stone since I had another issue from the ultrasound fresh on my mind for a future appointment. I used a heating pack for most of the night and afterwards the only symptoms that I've had is some trouble urinating which got better after Memorial Day and some light groin pressure. It was almost like somebody wrapped a leather belt around my groin and pulled back on it. Last night I felt some quick zaps on the tip of my you know what but everything else has been pretty calm. I also hear the exiting stage for the rock is not even as bad as the stuff before that. I'm going to be talking to my doctor coming this Monday. I also got tested at a nearby medical center and my blood output was very little and my urine showed no signs of infection. So far I feel kind of blessed but also a little cursed at the same time.
