On 9/11 Edgar Emery Jr. told an exhausted colleague, "If you can finish chemo, you can get down those steps." When the 78th floor was finally reached, he made sure everyone got on the elevator. He & and another colleague then headed back up to the 97th floor to evacuate six people. Edgar was 45 y/o.
