HELP! My Landlord is trying to threaten us.

My wife and I are currently in a rather hot and cold situation with our elderly landlady, whom is fiercely religious and is growing more and more eviction happy over every little thing.

We have been nothing but grateful and kind to her, my wife is super into canning and had given her some of the delicious treats she’s made. We wished to become foster parents and take in an LGBT teen who needed a forever home. Well she has been trying to threaten our housing situation over the fact that she crept on our windows and saw that the youth had a pride flag hanging in her room.

She had also gone so far as to threaten our housing over the mere idea of her having other LGBT friends over after school at some point, once she is enrolled near us. I am so stressed and need some guidance.
