Why doesn’t channeling Stone Burst keep triggering Obsidian Slam?

Hey!

Is there a way to keep triggering Obsidian Slam while channeling Stone Burst? It seems it it only triggers on the initial cast, but not during the channel: especially when choosing Rumbling Stones which makes you channel indefinitely.
