If you do not know yourself, it means you have surrendered your most precious BIRTH-RIGHT to define you to others which reveals you as slave of others who are slaves of someone else or something else. Others are enslaved to their own convenience rather than conviction, hence they would define you as mere combination of chemicals or that which emerged from animals … etc. If they are cheerful they will have one definition of you, and if they have sorrowful (like Darwin) they will have just opposite definition of you (Details HERE)

Truth about you is discerned when you are not cheerful nor sorrowful, from what happens when you sleep, when your body is at rest. You see brilliant colors in dream, you get new knowledge or some missing point to a solution you were grappling with during the day, like some scientists admitted of getting vital clues to their great inventions. It is this entity that experiences pain or pleasure because there are instances where you have got up from dream screaming because you burned your fingers in the dream. On awakening you realize pain experienced was not on body.

The above experiences of yours define you as one who perceives, experiences pain and pleasure through your sense organs. It is not that body sees, but the inner self, the Soul sees your body which means both are independent of each other. Soul is not born or dies but only changes body as we change worn-out costume. This is why each human is unique, they have VARYING perspectives on the SAME subject. If water is poured on a mountain slop, it flows downward—some of the water would not flow upward. But humans can do that. They can read the label “Alcohol, Smoking, Drugs are dangerous to your health” and see real-life experiences of people and can still use them. Only human can have selective seeing—they see faults of others but would not see own faults, and vice versa. Only human can feel superior because of certain color, gender, geography … etc. Only humans can use anything and anyone, even God Himself, to project themselves as more important than others. These are not the feature of mere combination of materials that make this body but of its USER.
