Does eating late at night really make you gain weight?

"Don’t eat past 8 o’clock" is one of the oldest nutrition misconceptions, but is it really a myth? Can the time of eating play any role in weight management, fat deposition, sensitivity to insulin, and metabolism? Is it the same for all people or does it make a difference if a person works at night? Does eating late lead to weight gain due to increased caloric consumption or is there more to it? Please, share your story.
