Arcwalker Almanac - Monday, June 1, 2026
Hello, Arcwalkers, and welcome back to the Almanac!
I am trying something new again. If you have been here for a while, that probably will not be shocking. I have Uranus in the 6th house, so doing the exact same thing in the exact same way every day is not usually how my brain works.
For this daily version, I am switching the almanac from UTC to Central Time. I track transits this way in my own daily life, keeping the posts in my time zone saves me a lot of extra calculating while I am writing all this out. I hope that works okay.
This format may change as I test it, but I want to try it for at least the next week. I have daily Almanacs written out for the next seven days, and I want to see how this feels in practice. If people are interested in following the transits this way, I will keep going with it.
So welcome to the Daily Arcwalker Almanac!
...Maybe!
TL;DR for Monday, June 1st 2026
- Mercury enters Cancer early this morning, shifting the mental tone toward memory, emotional context, family themes, and protective language.
- The Moon is void in Sagittarius for most of the day, so the daytime may feel open-ended or better for observation than direct action.
- The Moon enters Capricorn tonight, bringing more focus to structure, timing, responsibility, and practical response.
- Late tonight into Tuesday morning, the Moon begins activating a Moon-Mercury-Neptune Cardinal T-square, which may bring unclear communication or dream material forward.
Opening Field - 12:00 AM to 7:59 AM
- Mercury enters Cancer around 6:46 AM Central.
- Moon void in Sagittarius until 8:19 PM.
Mercury leaves Gemini and enters Cancer. This changes Mercury’s condition from domicile in Gemini to a Moon-ruled water sign. The mental focus moves from information exchange into memory, emotional context, family themes, and protective language.
Since the Sun is still in Gemini, Mercury’s sign change matters for the whole day. Gemini topics now answer to Mercury in Cancer, and Mercury now answers to the Moon. For most of the day, that Moon is void in Sagittarius, so Mercury’s new Cancer topics may feel emotionally present while still hard to land. Thoughts may turn toward home, safety, belonging, or what something means personally, while the Sagittarius Moon keeps the day searching for meaning.
When the Moon enters Capricorn tonight, Mercury’s ruler moves into Saturn’s sign. That gives Saturn in Aries more influence over the Cancer Mercury story. The tone may become more practical, more time-aware, or more focused on what needs to be handled.
Because this ingress happens before the post goes live, it becomes the opening condition. The day begins with Mercury already in Cancer, ruled by a Moon that changes condition later tonight.
Live Field - 8:00 AM to 5:59 PM
- Moon quincunx Jupiter at 8:32 AM.
- Moon void in Sagittarius until 8:19 PM.
Most of the daytime carries a void Sagittarius Moon. This can make the day feel open-ended, especially around Sagittarius topics: meaning, belief, perspective, teaching, travel, publishing, or interpretation.
At 8:32 AM, the Moon quincunxes Jupiter in Cancer. This can describe an adjustment between big-picture meaning and emotional capacity. Sagittarius may want a broader view, while Jupiter in Cancer may pull attention toward care, memory, protection, or emotional belonging.
The daytime field is useful for tracking what remains unresolved. What are you still trying to make sense of? What story keeps asking for another angle?
Evening Report - 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM
- Moon trine Chiron at 6:47 PM.
- Moon enters Capricorn at 8:19 PM (no longer void)
- Moon opposite Mercury at 10:32 PM.
At 6:47 PM, the void Sagittarius Moon trines Chiron in Aries. I am still listing this because I track Chiron, even though void Moon rules are usually based on the Moon’s final major planet contact before changing signs, which would have been when the Moon trined Saturn yesterday at 8:21 AM.
This gives the late Sagittarius Moon a more direct channel for recognizing a sensitive point. Since both the Moon and Chiron are in fire signs, the contact may bring something into awareness quickly through honesty, frustration, teaching, or the need to name where something feels exposed.
At 8:19 PM, the Moon enters Capricorn. This is the main tone change of the day. The focus moves from Sagittarius meaning and interpretation into Capricorn structure, responsibility, timing, limits, and practical response.
Capricorn Moon can bring attention to what needs to be handled. If the daytime felt open-ended, the evening may make the next practical concern easier to identify.
At 10:32 PM, the Moon opposes Mercury in Cancer. This is the first major Moon contact to Mercury after Mercury enters Cancer. The Capricorn Moon wants practical handling. Mercury in Cancer wants emotional language.
This opposition begins the active buildup into the Moon-Mercury-Neptune Cardinal T-square. The Moon is now in Capricorn, Mercury is in Cancer, and Neptune is in Aries. The Moon-Mercury opposition creates the pressure line, and the later Moon-Neptune square brings Neptune into the pattern.
Overnight Carryover - 12:00 AM to 7:59 AM Tuesday
- Moon quincunx Uranus at 12:23 AM.
- Moon square Neptune at 5:35 AM.
At 12:23 AM, the Moon quincunxes Uranus in Gemini. This can describe adjustment, restlessness, a change in plans, or a need to update the mental pattern. Capricorn wants structure, while Uranus in Gemini can bring new information or a change in perspective.
At 5:35 AM, the Moon squares Neptune in Aries. This is the main overnight contact because it brings the Moon-Mercury-Neptune Cardinal T-square into focus.
A T-square forms when two planets oppose each other while both square a third planet. In this pattern, the Moon in Capricorn opposes Mercury in Cancer, and both connect by square to Neptune in Aries.
The Moon in Capricorn wants practical response. Mercury in Cancer wants emotional language. Neptune in Aries can bring confusion, dream material, spiritual sensitivity, projection, or a harder time separating facts from atmosphere. The missing leg is Libra. Libra points toward relational awareness and balance.
If you wake up Tuesday thinking about responsibilities, schedules, limits, unclear emotions, strange dreams, or what needs to be managed, that belongs to this carryover. Monday night sets up the pattern that Tuesday morning asks people to sort through.
Chart Tracking
- Look at the house Cancer rules in your chart. Mercury enters that house today, bringing language and emotional meaning into that part of life.
- Look at the house Sagittarius rules in your chart. The Moon spends most of Monday there, making this the daytime area of observation and unfinished interpretation.
- Look at the house Capricorn rules in your chart. The Moon enters that house tonight, bringing attention to structure, responsibility, timing, and practical response.
- Look at the house Aries rules in your chart. Neptune in Aries becomes part of the overnight T-square, so this house may show where the situation feels less defined or harder to sort. The missing leg falls in Libra. Look at the house Libra rules in your chart for the balancing point.

Questions
Since this is the first daily almanac, I do not have a previous daily post to link back to yet. Starting tomorrow, I can ask how yesterday’s transits showed up and we can begin tracking the pattern day by day.
For today, feel free to share what you are noticing or if any of these applying transits are aspecting your chart.
If you notice anything in the skies that I missed, feel free to bring it into the comments too. I am focusing on the main transits here, but asteroids, fixed stars, dignities, bounds, declinations, and personal chart contacts can always add more detail.

Yesterday’s Sagittarius Full Moon is part of why this "daily" Almanac exists.
The idea came through around the Full Moon, and I wanted to see if it still made sense once the lunation passed. I had written out the charts and drafted the posts while the lunation waxed, so this felt like the right time to test the daily format.
This past Full Moon moved across my Gemini 11th house and Sagittarius 5th house. I connect my 5th house with the joy I get from creating on the subreddit, while my Gemini 11th house is tied to community and my current profection lord. It feels like an adjustment around what I create here and how I share it with the group.
The Moon moves into Capricorn tonight, which is my 6th house. I am curious to see whether that helps this become more of a daily practice. I also have a natal waning quincunx between the Moon and Sun, so this part of the lunar cycle may help me understand what the format is asking from me.
I am testing this for the rest of the week. By the next New Moon, I should have a better sense of whether this is something I can keep building.
The weekly version has been hard for my brain to maintain. I haven't even done an Almanac in months! This daily version may fit the way I already track transits in my own life (thank you heavy 6th house). We will see how it goes.
Week Ahead
- This week starts with Mercury entering Cancer, bringing more attention to the Cancer house of each chart.
- The Moon enters Capricorn tonight, Aquarius on Thursday morning, and Pisces on Saturday night.
- The main exact aspects this week are Sun sextile Saturn on Tuesday, Mercury square Neptune on Wednesday evening, and Mercury quincunx Pluto on Thursday.
- Venus continues applying toward Jupiter in Cancer through the week. Their conjunction arrives after this Almanac window, so Cancer is one of the main signs to keep tracking over the next several days.
- Pluto is retrograde in Aquarius. There are no new retrograde stations during this window.
Current reply path
For the past couple weeks, I have been working from chart posts as they come into the subreddit, and that has been harder to track for my brain. Arcwalk sign-up posts work best for me because they keep everything in one container. My plan is to finish the people on this current list, then open Arcwalk sign-ups again soon. Please let me know if you are waiting for a response from me and do not see your name here.
