High CPU temps with turbo frequencies turned on. (Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX)

Request

Hi, i have [MSI Crosshair 16 HX AI D2XWGKG-098XCZ] and from the start my temps were quite high - 85-95°C in almost all games, mostly when there was no framerate cap or even in more graphically intensive games where i had lower framerate because of GPU bottleneck. Basically more FPS - higher temp - no matter the game, later i found out that some cores are just at 5Ghz and the cooling couldnt handle that.

I later tried many things, disabling things and lowering PL1 and PL2 limits to around 50 W and that made it even worse somehow - propably only one core got power and ran on high frequency so i put it back.

(And in one game (Marathon) the temps were so bad it went into some kind of emmergency mode once in a while because it was on 105°C and that happended every like 10 mins or less.)

The last thing i tried is disabling turbo boost frequencies (without them i have around 2.6Ghz on P cores), this lower the temperatures dramatically but it also lowered my frames in most shooters - in R6 from around 240 to around 160 or a bit lower (temps to around max 75). And i rather have lower fps with lower temps then the opposite.

But i was wondering if it just could be badly applied thermal paste from the manufacturing or if are these CPUs are just ment for high temps(except what was happening with Marathon ↑↑).

I also tried lowering the max boost frequency but it didnt work changing it in bios.

Thanks for every answear if you have experience with these modern CPUs etc.
