Add-Ins for Bitter Tea

Question

Hello herbalists! I’m hoping some of you can help me. I have multiple diseases and chronic pain. I like to drink my favorite pain relieving tea, however, I just can’t get past the taste of it. I was hoping y’all can recommend some things I could add into it to make it more palatable.

This pain relieving tea contains cramp bark, white Willow bark, California poppy, holy basil, hyssop, nettles, and citrus peel.

I’ve tried adding oat straw, and while it takes a little of the edge off this bitter brew, it’s not enough.

I depend on this tea when my pain surpasses my pain medications’ ability to control it. I just want to try to make it pleasant to drink. Or at the very least, less unpleasant.

Thanks, y’all!
