Right, I feel rather awkward doing this. As a librarian, my job is usually to direct people toward resources and community help, not to put my hand up and ask for it myself. But local council pay bands haven't exactly kept pace with the cost of living, and if I'm perfectly honest, things are quite grim at the moment.
