Publishing after ISEF

Hi! Did any of you publish your ISEF research afterward?

I'm wondering whether it's better to submit to a journal now or wait a few months until all authors have institutional affiliations. Currently, one co-author has an affiliation, but soon all of us will.

Would submitting without affiliations significantly hurt our chances? I'd rather avoid "high school research" journals and aim for a standard academic journal.
