Mazda 3 downgrade

Advice Request

I have a rare opportunity to acquire a base Mazda 3 Hatchback for $303 per month. Currently, I own a 2026 CX-50 with a monthly payment of $382, an APR of 2.9%, and 68 months remaining on the loan. Since the Mazda 3 is nearing a refresh, my salesman offered me a new hatchback with no down payment, a 2.9% APR, and a 72-month loan. Although I generally prefer not to take 72-month loans, I often do so because I can always pay down the principal. Switching to the Mazda 3 would mean losing AWD, a larger infotainment system, a wireless charger (which doesn’t work very well), wireless CarPlay, additional rear space, and charging ports. Additionally, I anticipate high property taxes with the CX-50, but I would save on gas, maintenance, and tires. Is this switch worthwhile? I would save $79 monthly immediately, and my new loan amount would be $20,029, while my current payoff is $23,455. I need advice before making a decision. I’ve consulted every chatbot I could find, and they all agree it’s a rare deal.
