Flow 2 Defect/Bug Report: Continuous Key Repetition (Chattering) and Lofree's Disappointing Response
Hi everyone,
I’m writing this post to share a critical defect I’ve been experiencing with the Lofree Flow 2 and to see if anyone else is trapped in the same nightmare.
The Symptom (Key Chattering / Ghost Loops)
Has anyone else experienced their Flow 2 suddenly start repeating keys indefinitely until you click another key? For example, sometimes when I press Ctrl + C, the letter "c" will start repeating instantly (cccccccccc...) and won't stop until I press any other random key. It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but it happens frequently enough to completely ruin the typing and workflow experience.
My Experience & Lofree's Response (The Replacement Nightmare)
What makes this infuriating is that this isn't even my first unit. I already went through the hassle of getting a replacement from Lofree because my first Flow 2 had this exact same chattering defect. I was shocked to find that the brand-new replacement unit has the exact same issue.
To test whether it was an issue with my PC environment, I recently bought and tested a completely different keyboard (an AULA F99). It works flawlessly across Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired connections. No chattering, no loops, nothing.
This proves beyond a doubt that this is a systemic design flaw or a serious firmware/key-scanning logic bug inherent to the Flow 2 itself.
When I contacted Lofree support again to report that the replacement was also defective, their response was beyond disappointing. They basically told me that they currently have no plans for a firmware update to fix this. Instead of providing a real engineering solution or a proper fix, all they did was hand me a small piece of branded merchandise (goods) as "compensation" to try and brush the issue under the rug.
Conclusion
I absolutely love the premium feel and the physical typing experience of the Flow 2, which makes this situation incredibly tragic and frustrating. But Lofree is acting as an extremely irresponsible company by dodging a clear design defect.
I am officially done with this brand and will never buy or look at another Lofree product again.
Is anyone else experiencing this specific Ctrl+C or infinite key loop issue on their Flow 2? Have you found any temporary workarounds, or did you just give up and return it?
