KITEEE- An exam exposed

For every exam, there are two phases, the first us for the one to give and the second is to see the results.

Like many people, I didn't give this option as a priority, but we always prepare for the worst. I had to take the exam without an intimation that I would give it. But, it's fine how hard could it even be.

Allow me to share my experience, firstly when I joined in on 9:30, the Codetantra interface crashed multiple times and didn't respond. I immediately tried to contact my admissions councilor but no success. I wrote an email 15 minutes after the exam with all proofs had started to the official admissions team as well as the Codetantra Support team, requesting support or a possible reschedule if things go south.

Even then by 11:15 the admissions didn't respond and nor my councilor. No calls picked, no messages replied. Thankfully the codetantra support turned up and after a struggle, we had it configured. Thanks to their requests, that I had the only choice to complete the paper in half the time. I requested a reschedule or some normalization, since it was unfair and the earlier system check was passed but the exam system went out at the last minute. I was assured of the same.

And fast forward, to the expected result day till today, I haven't received any updates on my scorecard or intimation regarding that mishap.

As for the admissions councilor, the world has no idea for what they do there when students need them. After repeated inquiries, a date and time is set for the talk where they fail to turn up and play avoidance by cat and mouse.

On one day , I had a chat with a professor from a department I was getting from my Mains score. I informed her of the same and she understood it and assured me of informing the same to the admissions team. But alas, nothing until now. No sms, no email intimation, no g mail replies, no call picks and no turning up on times fixed by them.

I have reached out to the official sites, where E mails simply don't work, the phone numbers do not exist and admissions councilor avoid. Even if you refuse my normalization, which doesn't even matter anymore atleast give me an answer or a scorecard since I have paid some amount for this exam as well.

It is be noted that I have much better Tier 1 and 2 colleges and don't have any intentions to join this college, before presently and after this incident.

I have never turned to social media for these matters but honestly, considering the pity of any such student in the near future who mayn't be as good of a position as I am, I consider this as a responsibility.

But Kiet mods and admissions, befle taking this down ,if you are taking hard earned money, viewing a scorecard or atleast seeing the word qualified or not is a right for any exam taker. For the sake of maintaining a brand name, better ensure that people leave with appreciation.

This is an opportunity for KIET for improving themselves. Let's see if I can get a constructive response from the community.
