Can we talk about Ophtha/ ENT plis?

I was looking at general surgery but I'll probably not make it in this may INI. I'm looking towards other surgical branches but since GS is out of the options anyway I thought ophtha or ent would be better in terms of wlb. The problem is I do not have a mentor in these branches so I'm out here asking for starter info from kind seniors.

Please share what you know about college options, career trajectory if I'm a first gen doctor who has no plans of private practice establishment, also difference in surgical aspects between the two branches.

If I'm not asking in the right place, guide me to a better sub please. TIA
