3000 Users; 5 Paying Customers; 200$ MRR; what are we doing wrong?

I've been in the service business for years. 70-person team. We've built SaaS for clients and it worked.

Three years ago, we finally built something for ourselves: a CRM for agencies. Clean, simple, and it works: 3,000 sign-ups, hundreds of active users, 5 paying customers, 10 LTD customers.

The product isn't the problem. Marketing is. We have the best teach team; we can launch hundreds of features and we are continuously upgrading the product.

Here's what we're doing; and where things are leaking:

Cold email: Using Manyreach with leads from Listkit. 400 emails sent. 2% open rate. Zero replies. The copy probably isn't working.

Reddit: I handle this myself, finding relevant conversations and joining them. Some engagement, but nothing converted. I also can't give it enough time.

Content: 2 team members posting daily on LinkedIn and X. High-spec video studio. 10–15 posts/month. I'm not personally involved. Results aren't matching the investment, but I'm still building the team's skills.

**LinkedIn outreach:**1 dedicated person. 10–20 messages and connection requests per day. I have 15K followers.

I've tried ads before, CAC was too high. Also exploring partnerships and giveaways.

Goal: $1K MRR next month.

I'm doing everything I can think of. What am I missing?

You're doing 6 things at 30% intensity each. Cold email, Reddit, content, LinkedIn outreach, partnerships, giveaways — each one needs focused effort to work. Right now you have coverage but no depth.

The fastest path to $1K MRR is already in your pocket. You need roughly 10–20 paying customers. You have 15K LinkedIn followers and 3,000 sign-ups who already showed interest. That's the list. Personal outreach from you — not a team member — to warm connections is faster than any cold channel right now.

The leverage move: write 3 posts a week yourself (even rough drafts your team polishes), and spend 20 minutes a day personally messaging people who engaged with your content or signed up but didn't convert. The network is there. The trust isn't built yet because you're not in the conversation.
