I used AI for a student pitch and now I don’t trust my own research
I’m a business school student in the student track of Co Create Pitch. My team is playing with an idea for small Shopify sellers: an assistant that pulls together competitor prices, supplier info, reviews, and trend signals so they can decide if a product is worth listing.
I’ve been doing the research with Google and ChatGPT. It does make the messy part faster. You get a lot of this looks useful stuff pretty quickly. But when I sit down to write the pitch, I still get stuck on which points are real evidence.
For people using AI or agents for research, how do you sanity-check the output? Supplier info? Reviews? Search trends? Competitor pricing?
