Skunks in the middle of the night?

I live in a SFH close to the hospital and in a lot (most?) nights during the summer, I get woken up by the smell of skunk in the middle of the night... I'm not sure how far away the skunk is and IIUC their blast radius is up to 2 miles, so could be anywhere, but the smell is quite strong, so I feel like it's probably pretty close, maybe even on my property.

My windows are closed, but it's an older house, so the smell is probably creeping in somehow...

Is this something I should call pest control for?

It's happened the past 2 nights in a row, perhaps even longer than that, and I just slept through the other instances. It happened a lot last summer too, but can't recall exactly how frequent it was.
