Wild camping near colwyn bay

I am going on a 12 day backpacking trip with a friend soon and during our trip we have booked an hotel for 1 night in colwyn bay. We would like to arrive early so we can go to the laundromat and do groceries and such. I checked google maps and i dont really see any good spots nearby, what are good spots near colwyn bay to set up a tent?
