Theme Park Seatbelt

Location: Colorado
Last summer I was on a rollercoaster at a theme park in Denver that went upside down. As I was halfway upside down (it goes back and forth until it does loops) my bottom seatbelt came off. To describe it better, the coaster had the shoulder seatbelts, and then the bottom seatbelt for your thighs. When the bottom seatbelt unbuckled, the top of my body was somewhat stable, but my thighs began to somewhat slip. My friend, noticing, had to hold me back to keep me still. I went to the workers after and told them, and they closed the seat off. I emailed the theme park later, and they claimed that they did no wrong as it was only the backup seatbelt that failed. When I explained that it still affected my stability, they ignored it somewhat and just claimed they understood my frustration but the ride was safe. Do I have any sort of case? If it matters, it also affected me mentally and I spent quite a few therapy sessions going over it and trying to deal with it.

Thanks!
