painful nostril
Hello, I've had a nostril piercing for about two and a half years at the beginning of the piercing everything was fine, I had some bleeding which I suppose is normal, pain and swelling sometimes, which I cleaned with saline solution. During the months of healing, I went through many changes of labret piercing, first to an L-shaped one, then to a ring. With each ring I experienced a lot of pain when it moved (I know that the ring isn't the best way for healing), Then I ended up wearing an L-shaped labret piercing for several months, and then I decided to try putting a ring back in. Same pain and lump, then pus.
Today it will soon be 3 years since I got my piercing and it's still just as complicated But for the past week I've changed my labret piercing (which I had put back in after complications with the ring) to a titanium ring And everything was fine for a week, no pain, no discomfort. I thought my piercing had decided to heal. Then yesterday I washed my face (with a cleanser that's not great for my face, I admit it tends to make me feel red and tight) Then during the day I started to have pain in my piercing, shooting pains, and later a lump formed that contained pus It was white pus, to be precise. I cleaned it with saline solution, then I stopped touching it and left my piercing alone. Today I still had a lump with white pus and some bleeding. I cleaned it with saline solution and the pus came out (I didn't pierce it or force the pus out), I'm not in too much pain right now, but there's a kind of skin where the pus-filled lump formed; I feel like I still have it. It doesn't hurt, it's just not very pretty. I hope my message is understandable; thank you to those who can help me.
