So I asked this sub what would actually make a bush trip feel like it means something. Got a lot of good responses. That thread basically became my brief.

What I ended up making is a 10-leg trip through the Grand Canyon and Southwest — \~990 NM. The whole thing is built around a character, a geologist called Dr. Vivienne Marlowe, who's essentially narrating what you're flying over. Ancient seabeds that became canyon walls. The Colorado carving through 270 million years of rock. That kind of thing. The idea was that you'd never fly past something and wonder "wait, what was that" — she's already telling you.

Legs run 35–50 minutes. PLN for every leg, cold & dark ready. The navlog is the real thing — it's not just waypoint coordinates, it actually tells you what to look for and why it matters from that altitude.

Anyway. The storytelling I think holds up. But I don't know if the narrative angle feels earned or a bit much — that's the thing I can't evaluate myself at this point.

The first leg is up and ready to fly right now. It's called GRAND CANYON AND SOUTHWEST CINEMATIC: THE LAYERS OF TIME.

Long term this is what I want to keep building — more story-driven trips, different regions, different narratives. But it only makes sense to keep going if this format actually works for people who fly MSFS seriously. So yeah — your feedback genuinely matters here.

Built a narrative bush trip through the Grand Canyon. Been staring at it for months. Need outside eyes.
