falsely banned for child safety
Hello. on the 27th of May i was just zoning out on my gaming pc's monitor. was considering programming in C++ at that time discord was minimized i used discord for years, talking with old friends, interacting with communities, pc gaming. so i heard of this issue from NTTS on youtube so i was really strict with ensuring my account follows the guidelines. but once i clicked the desktop discord app it showed the login screen my first gut feeling was to check my email and oops! "You broke discord's terms of service". so i logged in and found out that i was banned for child safety what's insane is that they don't tell you what content you posted was the rule breaker.
* I opened a ticket and got an AI / Bot response now its solved
* Next move was to submit an in app appeal already done on the 27th. it's been 7 days.
* if they will not reinstate my account and i make / use another one i know they're going to ban that one for ban evasion despite me not violating anything at all!
from what i am seeing discord is just killing off their platform by letting this AI moderation do its thing rather than fixing their platform. what's crazy is that i was considering buying nitro on their platform as well but i guess they didn't want me as a person using their service anymore.
